Annapurna Trek

The Annapurna is one of the most popular treks in Nepal with many choices of routes. Among the better choices are the Around Annapurna, Annapurna Sanctuary and the Jomsom-Muktinath Trek. Most of these treks start from the enchanting Pokhara valley which itself is a tourist destination with its numerous lakes. The trails lead through beautiful countryside with lush green hillsides and lovely Gurung, Thakali and Magar villages. The trek will take you on a cultural journey through the heart of Nepal and a step back in time. On the trail you will encounter Hindus living in the lower regions while in the mountainous regions, the Buddhists predominate. The stupendous view of the Himalayan peaks is simply breathtaking.
