in the north and India enclosing the west, south and east.
Nepal has a total area of only 147,181sq.km.but this tiny
Himalayan kingdom boasts of eight of the 14 eight-thousander
peaks including Mt. Everest, the highest in the world. While

consists of flat plains called the terai and a large part
is covered with sub-tropical forest. The abundance of wildlife
makes the terai ideal for safari while the Himalayas are the
best terrain in the world for trekking and rafting. In urban
Nepal, the cities of Kathmandu, Patan and Bhaktapur are treasure
houses of exquisite Nepali art and fabulous culture with multi-storied
pagodas lining the streets and magnificent Buddhist stupas
adorning the hills.

is cut short by the monsoon and the best time to visit is
between October and November.
